Examines the city of Paris including the daily life of the people, its monuments, history, culture, and international significance. Taught in English and requires no familiarity with the French language. Requires travel and fees.
Prerequisites: ENGL 101, sophomore standing; or consent of instructor.

MODL 347 | Post-1800 World Literature | 3 cr
Explores selected global literary and cultural texts produced after 1800. Emphasizes non-Western works, including those with indigenous foundations. Examines the broad historical context and draws from other fields to deepen our understanding of the human experience, particularly along cross-cultural lines. Cross-listed with: ENGL 347.
